Polymer Modification
Elastomeric polymers are hot blended into the Liquid Road™
coating during the manufacturing process to ensure maximum

Fibre Reinforcement
Special fibres are added to provide flexural strength and
bridging characteristics to the coating.
The Liquid Road™ System
Liquid Road™ is a job-mixed with specially graded aggregate
and applied in a two coat process. The result is a highly
durable, slip resistant surface treatment that greatly extends
pavement service life. Liquid Road™ is available in both Asphalt
(Liquid Road™ AC) and Coal Tar (Liquid Road™ RT) formulations.
AsPen®
Pavement Rejuvenator
The Environmentally Friendly Rejuvenator. Ideal for roads,
streets, shopping centres, airports, and highway shoulders.
AsPen® is an emulsion based pavement surface treatment
that replenishes the binder that is lost through oxidation,
weathering, and aging. AsPen® is available in both Asphalt
based (AsPen® AC) and Coal Tar based (AsPen® RT) formulations.

What is AsPen®?
AsPen® replaces and protects the binder lost through
the damaging effects from oxidation from the sun. AsPen®
is chemicaliy engineered to reverse the effects of aging and
to seal the pavement and help prevent raveling prolonging
the service life of the pavement substantially.
What is AsPen® AC?
AsPen® AC is a specially modified asphalt base emulsion
formulated from similar asphalt cements used to make bituminous
concrete pavements.
What Is AsPen® RT?
AsPen® AT is a specially modified refined coal tar base
emulsion. The closed ring hydrocarbon structure of AsPen®
RT affords superior performance against fuel and UV degradation
in comparison to other petroleum based products.
How does AsPen® work?
For all of its outstanding qualities as a paving material,
asphalt is no more impervious to the effects of time, weathering
and tough service than any other construction material. With
the passage of time, the need for maintenance becomes signaled
by dryness, brittleness and other visible signs of deterioration,
such as loss of matrix, raveling, cracking and spalling.
AsPen® is excellent for its ability to delay the aging
process from the outset and to reverse any premature aging
that might be caused by construction variables such as excess
heat at the hot plant, excess voids caused by low temperatures
during compaction, critical mix design and other inconsistencies.
All of these factors leave the finished surface vulnerable
to air and water intrusion, chief causes of premature aging.
By replenishing the binder lost through oxidation and weathering,
the aged asphalt can be protected, and strengthened as well
as renewed to its original colour and look. This can be achieved
by spraying AsPen® directly onto the asphalt surface to
combine with the existing binder forming a protective surface
treatment. Permeability tests confirm that even after several
years AsPen® continues to repel air and water.
How Aspen® Works
AsPen® is a specially modified asphalt emulsion designed
to rejuvenate and prolong the service life of asphalt pavements.
AsPen® replenishes the Asphalt Binder™ that is lost through
the oxidation and aging process.
AsPen's exceptional "wicking" properties enable
it to penetrate much deeper into the asphalt pavement than
unmodified asphalt emulsions. As AsPen® penetrates it
seals and waterproofs the pores in the asphalt and dramatically
decreases the oxidation process as well as greatly reducing
the damaging effects of freeze/thaw cycles.
Uses of AsPen®
AsPen® is designed to both prolong the life of new asphalt
pavement as well as to rejuvenate old oxidised pavement. AsPen®
replenishes asphalt cement content when performing heat scarified
or other surface recycling work. Aspen® also replenishes
asphalt cement content when performing hotor cold asphalt
pavement recycling.

SealMaster PMB™
PMB is a unique coal tar based emulsion pavement sealer
fortified with hot blended polymers and specialty surfactants
producing a coating with outstanding wear properties.
HIGHER SOLIDS MEANS LONGER WEAR
Unlike conventional sealers that require dilution of up to
50% with water, PMB's unique formulation allows for application
at full strength without dilution. PMB is job mixed with specially
graded aggregate to produce a coating that is applied at 60-65%
solids, compared to conventional sealers which are applied
at approximately 40-43% solids.

Elastomeric polymers are hot blended into PMB during

is absorption of water into the dried sealer film. Specialty
surfactants are blended into PMB during the manufacturing

drying time in comparison to conventional pavement sealers
that are diluted with water prior to application.

Application:

SealMaster® Coal Tar Pavement Sealer
The Industry Standard By Which All Other Coal Tar Based
Pavement Sealers Are Judged.

Airport Grade Fuel Protection for Asphalt and Bitumen pavements.
Superseal is mixed by APMS from
a concentrated form which includes Polymer additives and a
singular size granular fine sand and applied in mixed form.
As the sand is blended into the SuperSeal, there is no need
to broadcast sand over the applied fuel resistant product
where an anti-slip finish is required. SuperSeal is applied
in two coats at an application rate of 0.45 litres per M2.
Drying time is approximately
2 hours between applications. Total drying time for aircraft
movements is approximately 4 hours depending on ambient and
pavement temperature at the time of application. Pavements
contaminated with oils can be pre-treated with Petro Seal™
to ensure adherence of SuperSeal.
Superseal is a coal tar emulsion
sealer designed to protect and beautify asphalt pavement surfaces.
It provides superior protection for airport runways and taxiways.
Approved and used throughout Australia and internationally.
Superseal has fuel resistant membranes for Hard Stand Refuelling
areas and rejuvenation program of asphalt.
It can be used for any asphalt
pavement surface including parking lots, driveways, airports,
roadways, secondary roads, highway shoulders, walkways and
more. Superseal helps protect asphalt surfaces from the damaging
effects of gas, oil, salt and chemicals that soften and weaken
the pavements strength and eventually destroy it.
